Biography of his Excellency Serge Mombouli,  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Congo to the United States of America.
Born on July 22nd, 1959 in Pointe Noire, Republic of Congo. Ambassador Serge Mombouli is the son of a diplomat and Congolese Statesman, he is  the 5th of 10 children. Ambassador Mombouli is married with six children.

He graduated in Tourism Management from the Superior Institute of Tourism in Paris, France. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Corporate law from the National Conservatory of Arts and Professions. He is an expert in Corporate Law and Business Negotiations.

His career Began at Air Afrique in the Corporate Sales Department in Paris, France, he then became Vice-President of A.W.E. group Inc., in Houston, Texas and owner of  P.I. Travel Corporation. 

In 1995, he became Vice-President of the International Operations and Project Development section of  Transworld Consortium Corporation, a Houston based company.

On May 30th, 1997 he became spokesman in the United States of His Excellency Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of the Republic of Congo.

Mr. Mombouli was appointed Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Congo on November 27th, 1997 and accredited by the United States Department of State in February 1998 as Minister Counselor, Chargé D’Affaires of Congo to the United States of America.

He was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Congo to the United States of America on July 6th, 2001.
